Madison | 7 week old

Say hello to 7 week old Madison. She is the first "older" baby I've photographed and I think she went pretty easy on me. I was extremely flattered to have her mom, a fellow NICU nurse, ask me to photograph Madison. Her series of shots in the flower pot crack me up. She has so much personality! Many thanks to her mom, Michelle, for all the rattle-shaking, music playing, and other such antics that kept Miss Madison's attention. :)

Ephraim | Newborn Session

This session took place on March 12th, which also happens to be my birthday. Why in the world would I schedule a session on my birthday? The answer is simple. I LOVE photographing newborns. I can honestly say that I thoroughly enjoyed spending the morning of my birthday photographing 6 day old, Ephraim. Little brother to two adoring sisters and the first son to Matt and Missy. You may recognize this family from Missy's maternity session last November. If you recall, Missy did not want to know the gender of her baby, but Matt (and several others) were let in on the secret. Somehow they succeeded in keeping it quiet and Missy was surprised and excited to meet the new man in her life. Congratulations Matt and Missy on your newest addition! And thank you for allowing me to photograph your beautiful family.

Aftan & Eric | Maternity Session

Sunday afternoon I had the privilege of doing a maternity session for my sister-in-law Aftan and her husband Eric. They are expecting their first child, a baby girl, due to arrive May 20th. It was a gorgeous day in Valley Forge Park, where we successfully took an outrageous number of photos. There is no denying the fact that Aftan is an incredibly beautiful pregnant woman...making my job incredibly easy. Congratulations again! I love you both and can't wait to meet your little one in May!
